People in India believe that if their child has born at the right astrology charts star sign it will bring them good fortune with the zodiac compatibility. From one of its local Kanwal Preet has going to give birth last January 22 according to her doctor, but she was quite disappointed because she wanted to have the labour on exactly the Hindu festival of Makar Sankranti. She asked her doctor instead and set an arrangement to have the baby delivered by Caesarean section and on January 13 in the BL Kapur Memorial Hospital in line with the day the sun moved into Capricorn according to Hindu astrology. She strongly believes that this will the right sign and birth date for her daughter.
“I am very happy that my daughter was born on that auspicious day,” Mrs Preet said, smiling as she cradled her newborn child.
More and more couples in India are consulting their astrologers to make plans for their children birth. This has been increasing more and more as the day goes by. They want to have their child birth with the favourable dates on the astrological calendar. The parents-to-be believe an “astrochild” will enjoy good health, happiness and success in the future.
“ Mrs Preet had been medically ready to undergo the Caesarean any day after January 8 and when she chose the day of the Makar Sankranti as the date of delivery, the doctors were happy to fulfil her wish,” said Dinesh Kansal, a senior doctor at the hospital.
